Transatlantic artist Adele-Marina Wilding is an award-winning singer/songwriter, pianist and instrumental composer. Born in England and educated in Canada and Europe, Adele's musical training culminated in the Diploma in Jazz and Popular Music Studies from the renowned Goldsmiths College, University of London. She has since been performing in premiere venues throughout the UK and in Canada. Tracks from her three CDs have resulted in excellent reviews, airplay and live appearances on UK and international radio stations. UK highlights include Winner of the inaugural BWA Nina Simone Award 2005 (for which she was nominated again in 2008), Semi Finalist in the UK Songwriting Contest (2006/07), and Invited Performer at the NME/Uncut Artist Showcase, London in July 2009. An emerging instrumental composer, Adele-Marina's classical pieces have been performed by professional Scottish chamber group Red Note Ensemble in Edinburgh and Glasgow. She was also one of five, UK based composers who were selected for the "Noisy Words" Composer/Playwright collaboration in November 2010 at the Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh. Adele-Marina's works reflect her cultural and musical diversities, with influences from classical, jazz, rock, folk, Caribbean and Latin.
