Ali Fontaine

Country, Singer/songwriter

Before young country singer/songwriter Ali Fontaine finished her senior high school year, she had already produced a debut full length self-titled album of award winning, top charted original hit songs like “Runaway” and “Say it to me”. Ali’s debut self-titled album is “one solid record that displays a maturity that belies her 17 years. Her voice and songwriting come off as effortless, showing a poise that will have veteran performers envious and audiences swooning” (Manitoba SCENE). It was no surprise that Ali received “Best New Artist” and “Best Country CD” at the 2011 APCMA’s. Her initial success served as no distraction to her musical drive as young Ali released an anticipated second album titled “Diamond in the Rough”, June 2012.

Hailing from Sagkeeng First Nation, MB, Ali devoted her life to music at the early age of eight. It was during her early years of tearing up local talent competitions when she was discovered by manager Errol Ranville of C-Weed Band. Since then, rising star Ali has had the pleasure of guest performing with the WSO at the Indigenous Festival, Winnipeg, for Val Kilmer in New York at the World Indigenous Business Forum, and for Aboriginal communities across the Nation.
