Julie’s solo recording, Water Off a Duck’s Back (2008), has been the highly anticipated next step in her musical career. Classically trained, Julie has spent a lifetime performing folk, jazz, and show tunes both locally and internationally. As a founding member and lead singer of the former folk-band Majolie, Julie played alongside the multi-talented MJ Dandeneau. After collaborating with Kenny Byrka of the Canadian rock group Sleddogs, Julie is currently enjoying (as co-writer) the success of the Sleddogs' hit single Perfect Place which broke through to the Top 40 and received a nomination for a 2006 Canadian Radio Music Award.
