About
Manitoba Music will be heating things up on the ice of the Assiniboine River this Louis Riel Day weekend. The innovative Warming Huts will host a diverse line-up of local talent on Sunday, February 17, presented by The Forks and Manitoba Music, and produced by five of Winnipeg's top festivals and presenters.
From 1 to 4 p.m., visitors to the world's longest river trail can discover homegrown talent from The Forks to Osborne Village and back again courtesy of roots trio Red Moon Road, fiddler Melissa St. Goddard, singer/songwriter JD Edwards, jazz trio The Lucas Sader Project, up-and-comer Haley Carr, and DJs Hunnicutt and Co-op.
Warming Huts hosting performers include Carcass, Big City, Hygge House, Woolhaus, Weave Wave, and installation Sonus Loci.
