A generous helping of musical dishes from Winnipeg's folk music community will be served up at the WECC in tribute to the music of Canada's greatest songwriter, Stan Rogers.
The Light Westernaires, will be on hand to support an all-star cast of musicians while they sing and play some of your favourite Stan songs in a Christmas concert that is sure to entertain.
Acts include: Sweet Alibi, Red Moon Road, Jessee Havey (The Duhks), Jordan Sunley McConnell, Leonard Podolak, The Riel Gentlemen's Choir, JD Edwards. All will be supported by "The Light Westernaires" an all-star band made of Nathan Rogers (rhythm guitar, vocals), JD Edwards (guitars, vocals, harmonica), Dale Brown (violin, electric violin, mandolin, vocals), Gilles Fournier (Bass, vocals).
