Come enjoy Latin grooves and alluring harmonies at the WECC with a delightful pairing of Trio Bembe and the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra String Quintet.

One of the records that helped introduce Trio Bembe’s singer Amber Epp to Latin music was the Buena Vista Social Club. Since then, Amber has been dreaming about pairing Latin music with strings. After playing with the WSO in 2011 they decided to invite the MCO quintet to do a show together.

Symphonic strains meet Cuba's Tropicana Cabaret for an unforgettable night with congas, violins, maracas, and cello. It all comes together as the groove machine that is "Latin Strings."

Trio Bembe is inviting everyone at the concert to bring a non-perishable food donation for Winnipeg Harvest to help support those less fortunate.
