Hear All Year! The Winnipeg Folk Festival is thrilled to present Simon Townsend (of The Who) May 3 at The Good Will.
Tickets are $20.50 and go on sale Friday, February 19 through Ticketmaster and at the Winnipeg Folk Festival office.
Simon has been The Who's secret weapon for the past 20 years alongside his brother, Pete. He was born with music in his blood, the son of England’s top big-band reed man, Cliff Townshend, and younger brother of The Who legend Pete Townshend, Simon has been recording and performing since the age of nine, when he was recruited to add vocals to The Who classic Tommy.
