Born out of unsuspecting Winnipeg, Manitoba comes Micah Visser. A solo project as eclectic as the city it came from. First receiving attention with a few scrappy EPs, and eventually garnering serious acclaim for the “haunting sketch of youth”, ok night. Visser didn't stop there though. Eager to push himself and his band further, they spent the months following ok night's release fervently crafting a new sound. Micah Visser is both restless and meticulous, and I Will Not Return as a Tourist, makes this abundantly clear. Followed by Keeping Up, the lead single off of upcoming EP forward, both singles show Visser pushing far outside his comfort zone, and even further outside what is expected of a solo artist. These frantic singles are not only expanding on the raw emotion and energy that Micah Visser has become synonymous with; they are a sign of things to come.
