About

Winnipeg! We're participating in something quite out of the ordinary (for us) this winter. We've written and arranged new songs with our good friend Tom Keenan for a contemporary production of Shakespeare's Richard II that will be staged at the West End Cultural Centre in Winnipeg December 14-18. AM I NOT KING? is the brainchild of director Christopher Brauer and produced by the fine folks at zone41 theatre and WECC. We are equally honoured, delighted, and terrified (ha!) to be a part of such a talent-laden and ambitious project. We would love to see yout there!

After three years of development, zone41 theatre in partnership with the West End Cultural Centre is pleased to announce:
AM I NOT KING?
The Last Concert of Richard 2

ROYAL CANOE transforms Shakespeare’s verse with a contemporary score that pops the bubble of a delusional King in crisis. The madness of power and politics explodes in this new, sung - through, contemporary version of KING RICHARD THE SECOND.

SONGS by singer/songwriter Tom Keenan & Royal Canoe’s Matt Peters

CONCEIVED & DIRECTED by Christopher Brauer

ADVANCE TICKETS $20 | WECC Box Office | Online www.zone41.ca/tickets
