The Arrogant Worms write songs to make fun of a big dumb world. Luckily, the world is still dumb and The Arrogant Worms (Mike McCormick, Chris Patterson and Trevor Strong) still have plenty to sing about. The shows are fast, furious and family friendly. The wit is quick, the satire is biting and the musicianship is second to none. Their appeal has earned them fans from kids to parents to grandparents to Princess Leia.
They have been cranking our melodic Canadian comedy for 25 years now, and a big number like that deserves something special! That is why, just like all the greats, they are announcing that this album, and the tour to support it, COULD BE THE VERY LAST for all of time, eternity, and foreverness!
Just like their close friends KISS (who stopped touring in 2000), Ozzie Osborne (who hung it up for good in 1991), and the WHO (who performed their last concert in 1982) they are completely and utterly serious about this. Their word is their bond.
Unless things go well, in which case they say they will make their "Farewell Tour" an annual event and put out a couple dozen more Farewell Albums.
