About
In 2012, Winnipeg's Mama Cutsworth started her DJ Academy for All Women and Non-Binary Folks, a welcoming space that teaches people the basic skills and confidence it takes to become a professional DJ. Since it began, it has seen over 100 students graduate from the program. After each season of classes, the brand new group of DJs play their first-ever gig for a live audience. Think of it as music recital with a heck of a lot more dancing and drinks.

Followed by a dance party with Mama Cutsworth!
The DJs will be spinning classic hip hop, house, electronic, funk, disco, soul, indie rock and much more. First DJ set begins at 10 pm.
