About

The second annual Zabathon, presenting new works by Winnipeg composer Tristan Zaba. This year will feature Tristan's first opera, "I Hope I Shall Arrive Soon", as the main event. Based off of Philip K Dick's short story of the same name, it tells a tale of mental deterioration, Freudian corruption of memories, and theological metaphors aboard a spaceship. Also being showcased will be material from the upcoming 2017 "Zaba" rock album; "The Mosaic", a variety of chamber music, and the third and final installment in the "Paraworlds" multimedia project.
