It's that time of year again: OneProsper Manitoba will be hosting its second annual Playin' and Sustainin' Coffeehouse! Come to the Hub this Tuesday, April 4th at 7:30 PM for a bunch of great acts, with proceeds going towards drop irrigation systems for farmers in Western India! Amission is $5.00 at the door
The night will feature three solid acts:
The talented duo of Graham McLeod and Daniel Kroft will perform a jam-packed set for the evening. Currently in the Faculty of Medicine, Graham and Daniel have been performing and recording music for a long time. Expect an exciting set of original music from the pair.
Along with hosting "Made You a Mixtape" on Tuesday evenings on 101.5 UMFM, Amy Unger has honed her skills on "Bennett" her acoustic guitar to create a unique sound that is hard to come by these days. Inspired by the likes of Don Ross and Missisippi John Hurt, the talented performer will be showcasing her skills for the evening.
A seasoned singer, Upasna Rai is set to perform with a highly polished set showcasing today's most relevant hits. Accompanied by the talented multi-instrumentalist Arthur Weldon, expect an energic set from two very musical individuals.
