Wall-to-Wall Mural & Culture Festival will facilitate the creation of a series of new works of contemporary street art, in view of the longterm goal of transforming the streets of West Broadway all the way to the Winnipeg’s North End into thriving artistic communities. As has been demonstrated with previous work through our mural and culture festival, Wall-to-Wall, coupling colourful works of contemporary street art with sincere community engagement and accessible public programming results in tangible change at a grassroots level. Socially-conscious public art has the power to bring together diverse communities, to open meaningful dialogues around sensitive issues, to provide platforms for under-represented voices to be heard, and to beautify and to make safer our cities. Wall-to-Wall is a partnership of North End Renewal Corporation, Graffiti Art Programming & Synonym Art Consultation with support from West Broadway Biz.
