The South Side Big Band is moving and grooving towards the end of our 6th year together, and we're eager to share a fresh batch of tunes to tide you over until autumn!
In keeping with our focus on diversifying our music this year, we'll be premiering a few local arrangements and transcriptions by SSBB members/alumni Miles Thomsen, Chris Craigen, and Scott Jodoin. From Winnipeg-born indie pop to classic rock/funk grooves to soundtrack samplings from an American animated web series, you won't want to miss this one!
Joining us this time around are vocalists Elizabeth Sadler and Jay Buchanan, as well as the Fort Richmond Collegiate Senior Jazz Band, celebrating FRC's 50th anniversary!
