About

Pop-punk band Daggermouth are back and ready to reclaim what’s theirs. Forming in 2004, they released two albums—Stallone and Turf Wars—which, alongside their catchy songwriting melodies and energetic live performances, garnered the group a loyal fanbase. With full momentum, Daggermouth were taken on tour with punk-rock heavyweights such as SNFU and Moneen. The band’s strong four-year tenure came to an inconclusive end in 2008.

“Why did we take a break? That is a hard question to answer,” claims Dan Donald, the hard-hitting drummer of Daggermouth. “The band toured full-time for a few years, and that takes a toll on people personally, mentally, and physically,” he explains. “We got back together because at the end of the day, we are all close friends; we loved making sweet, sweet music and hanging out. We want to finish off the Daggermouth story with a happy ending as opposed to an unfinished one. Cheesy and cliché? Perhaps, but there you have it.”

For those who have yet to see Daggermouth rock the stage, you can expect the following: “Daggermouth is going to do what Daggermouth has always done: play fast as hell, play loud and have fun. Throw a sense of humour in there and we are good to go.”
