Join us in Transcona to celebrate Canada's 150th birthday this July 1st. Enjoy a family friendly festival on Regent Avenue. Run through the obstacle course, slide down the giant blow up slide, and stick to the velcro wall in the Bouncer Zone sponsored by NVR construction. 

Get your photo taken with Snow Queen and Beauty Princess, get your face painted like a fierce tiger or get wowed by a tricky magician in the Childresn's Entertainment Zone sponsored by Vickar Auto Dealers and Wyatt Dowling Insurance.

Try your hand at giant Yahtzee, Dominoes, Jenga, Connect Four, Scrabble and Backgammon in the Casera Credit Union Big Games Zone. 

Celebrate Canada's diversity with Folklorama performances by Rozmai Ukrainian Dance Company, India School of Dance and the Walking Wolf Singers & Dancers sponsored by City Councillor Russ Wyatt. Enjoy live music with Bluestem, sposored by Waterside Development.

The afternoon celebrations are also funded in part by by Canadian Heritage.

Finish off the day in the square with headlining performer Bluestem at 3:00 PM brought to you by Waterside Developement. As the sun goes down head over to Buhler Recreational Park for fireworks at 10:15PM.
