About
Nolan Kehler has been described as a performer with his soul on fire. This is no mere statement: The Altona, Manitoba- born tenor's passion for music-making and sharing it with others is both tangible and infectious for an audience. Nolan recently finished a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Canadian Mennonite University in Winnipeg, studying with David Klassen. Over a short career, nolan has enjoyed performing a number of amazing rolls on the stage, including Frankie Epps in Jason Robert Brown's parade, Fenton in Otto Nicolai's The Marry Wife's Of Windsor, and most recently, Ralph Rackstraw in HMS Pinafore. Nolan is also an active participant in the choral realm, having performed across Canada in different ensembles, including the Winnipeg singers under the direction of Yuri Klaz.
When he isn't singing, Nolan enjoys pursuing music as a drummer and A recording artist for a variety of different bands. Nolan also works as a broadcaster whose resume includes stints at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and Golden West Radio, where he hosts a Sunday morning inspirational music program and various classical music programs. In the fall, Nolan will be starting a new chapter in his development as a performer, studying with Ben Butterfield at The University of Victoria.
