Thelonious Monk's groundbreaking improvisational style has inspired generations of jazz players. He's widely considered one of the greatest players of all time and laid the foundation for bebop and modern jazz as we know it today.
Help us pay tribute to the legend with a party in his honour. Presented in partnership with The Good Will Social Club, festival favourites Orbit and Montreal artist Thanya Iyer will hit the stage to play some of his most-loved music on the 100th anniversary of his birth.
