About
Glen is a songwriter who does not shy away from writing about difficult and dark topics. He also has a fun side in his performances that endear him to audiences wherever he plays.
He has shared the stage with well-known and famous players such as Bruce Cockburn, The Irish Rovers, Ramblin'Jack Elliot, Tom Paxton. He is praised for his evocative lyrics and for his sometimes complex and sometimes simple and endearing melodies. He has recently been performing at conferences, coffeehouses and also for private gatherings to celebrate and to encourage people to consider some of life's challenges as well as its triumphs and joys. Some
say that Glen's work is better than ever.
In addition to this Glen writes about current significant issues in the world. He tackles poverty, homelessness, spirituality and other important topics without embarrassment or apology.
After a show, McCabe's audiences talk about having experienced a range of feelings that include joy, sadness and hope. They often say they were challenged by the songs they heard as well as encouraged by the humor and pathos. You can purchase and listen to eight of Glen's songs that have been distributed around the world through Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music and about 10 other sites. Glen sometimes has music available for purchase when he performs.
Glen looks forward to meeting you at his next show.
