Ora Clementi is a collaborative project between sound artist crys cole and Australian composer-performer James Rushford. The audience is presented with an opportunity to experience the duo in the midst of their musique-concrete structural process in a live setting, expanding on themes established on their collaborative album Cover You Will Softer Me (Penultimate Press). Both performers have a rich body of work that defies complete disclosure; cole's recorded works have been published on imprints including Black Truffle (AU), Penultimate Press (UK), Touch (UK), MeGO (AT), caduc (CA), Bocian (PL), Another Timbre (UK) and Infrequency editions (CA/DE), and she has exhibited in Canada, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Moscow, Sweden, the UK and Thailand. Rushford has been commissioned by the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra (Glasgow), Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Ensemble Neon (Oslo), and he has presented work at STEIM Institute (Amsterdam), Logos Foundation (Ghent), Issue Project Room (New York), Super Deluxe (Tokyo), Ausland (Berlin), Centre for Contemporary Art (Warsaw) and has ongoing collaborations with Graham Lambkin, Kassel Jaeger, Michael Pisaro, Joe Talia, Tashi Wada and Dennis Cooper among many more.

Oren Ambarchi is a prolific Australian free jazz/experimental electronic guitarist and percussionist, whose palette of sonic tools has transcended the roots of guitar and percussion based abstractions into an enveloping practice of tonal extrapolation and expansion. Past collaborations have included work with Keiji Haino, Jim O'Rourke, Merzbow, and SunnO))),  His solo works "are hesitant and tense extended songforms located in the cracks between several schools: modern electronics and processing; laminal improvisation and minimalism; hushed, pensive songwriting; the deceptive simplicity and temporal suspensions of composers such as Morton Feldman and Alvin Lucier; and the physicality of rock music, slowed down and stripped back to its bare bones, abstracted and replaced with pure signal." His latest solo release is Hubris and features an astonishing cast of players including crys cole, Mark Fell, Arto Lindsay, Jim O'Rourke, Keith Fullerton Whitman and Ricardo Villalobos amongst others.

Burden create composed and improvised works for the amplified piano soundboard, exploring physical properties of the piano: tension, tuning, and resonance, improvising with handmade tools and found objects to produce dark warm drones, thuds, and squeals. Unlike a full piano, whose felt dampers mute the strings until a note is played, the open soundboard's strings all vibrate and sound at once, creating layers of beating harmonics. Past performances have seen them sharing the stage with Okkyung Lee, Wolf Eyes, The Thing, and Stephen O'Malley among others.
