Brooke Palsson:
An upbringing in the Canadian Film scene saw Palsson awarded for her work throughout the years, particularly with her involvement in the Canadian Comedy scene. And it was her acting career that eventually gave way to an additional endeavor in music. Her folk album, “The Willow” released in 2014, was featured on shows including Flashpoint, Less Than Kind, and The Colossal Failure of the Modern Relationship.

A move to Toronto in 2011 meant a widening in the performer’s platform, granting her access to a continued career in film, screenwriting, and music. A deeper study of the local music scene introduced the singer to a new sound rooted in soul and R&B.

Brooke’s neo-soul project will be set to release in 2018 under the alias Brooklyn.

Keith Macpherson:
Best known for his work with award-winning, country/pop duo, Keith and Renee, Keith has performed across North America, Europe, Africa and Dubai. He has had his music featured in film and television shows including Degrassi, Canadian Idol, and AT & T commercials. In 2006, Keith spent a summer on Season 4 of Canadian Idol as a finalist and placed in the top 12.

Aside from his performing experience, Keith is well known for his songwriting abilities including a #1 hit song in Australia. Keith’s song, “Possibility” was also given an approval by Sir Paul McCartney.

Keith is now set to release his debut solo album, “Shine” in early 2018. The new album will feature Keith’s original songs and showcase his solo material aside from his work with the popular country duo, Keith and Renee.

Cancer Crossing works to provide financial support to those who incur expenses related to the diagnosis and subsequent treatment of cancer not covered by the universal health care system, or private insurance. Essentially helping anyone and everyone that “falls through the cracks”.
