Karly Epp is a Canadian born, NYC-based vocalist and educator. She was recently named a top-15 finalist in the 2017 Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Competition. A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, Epp studied under the direction of Grammy-nominated vocalists Gretchen Parlato, Theo Bleckmann, and Kate McGarry. From 2016-2017, she held a monthly residency at NYC's historic 55 Bar with Vinyl Live! and currently performs throughout the city and beyond. Epp is a visiting guest vocal jazz instructor at the University of Manitoba for the 2017-2018 academic year.

Karl Kohut is a New York City based bassist, composer, educator and bandleader. A native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Kohut has performed with many distinguished artists and organizations including Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, Jimmy Greene, and Ralph Peterson Jr., among others. He has performed at many of New York’s top jazz clubs including Dizzy’s Club-Coca Cola, Blue Note, Smalls, Zinc Bar, and more. He has toured throughout the US and Europe as a member of Joseph Doubleday and Felix Peikli’s Showtime Band. Currently, Kohut is a visiting guest jazz bass instructor at the University of Manitoba for the 2017-2018 academic year.
