Featuring co-leaders Brian Chipney on soprano saxophone & vocals and Tim Cummings on guitar, the group also includes Steve Hamilton on bass. This is a band with a deep appreciation of jazz history. But it isn't an exercise in nostalgia or a recreation of olders styles! The Trio approaches the music from a creative perspective, always ready to take chances and look for fresh avenues within the mainstream tradition.
