CKUW 95.9 FM is the campus/community station at the University of Winnipeg. Since 1963 CKUW has offered students and the community and uncompromising, independent voice. We broadcast 24/7 to the entire city and all programming is done by volunteers. ON SENDING MUSIC: Do NOT email unsolicited mp3s to CKUW. They will not be listened to our scheduled for airplay. We always accept physical copies of your music and we prefer to playlist full albums, vinyl releases or ep's. CKUW volunteers are required to play new local music and while CKUW can't guarantee that it'll be heard, everything CKUW receives is open for on-air play.
