Kids On Fire
"Shake the Walls"

From the album Kids On Fire

Featured track, available from February 24 to March 3

Punk trio Kids On Fire is skipping out on the unpredictable March weather and heading to Cuba. The band has been selected to join not-for-profit org Solidarity Rock on its fourth trip to the country, where they'll host benefit concerts to raise money and solicit musical instrument donations for struggling Cuban musicians as well as promote cross-cultural exchanges between Canadian and Cuban arts communities. Kids On Fire hits the Royal Albert on March 11 with Republic of Champions and Pink Slips to kick off the Cuban tour, complete with silent auction and gear drive. If you have old instruments and gear to donate to the cause, contact the band at info@kidsonfiremusic.com. They'll also be at Times Change(d) with Vibrating Beds and SubCity on March 4 and the Cavern on February 25 with High Class Low Lifes and The Thrashers. We've got the band's song "Shake the Walls" as the featured download for you this week in The Loudspeaker. Grab it for free, check out Solidarity Rock, get rid of your unwanted gear, and catch Kids On Fire before they head south. You can watch Kids On Fire's brand new video for "Shake the Walls" on in the video gallery!
