Madame Diva
"Mardi Gras"

From the album Viva la Diva

Featured track, available from November 22 to November 30

This week, we're going to transport you to the colourful world of puppets and music. Canadian Folk Music Award-nominated childrens artist Madame Diva, aka singer/songwriter Jocelyne Baribeau, is getting ready for the release of her sophomore album, Viva la Diva. She'll also debut her new video for "L'ourse polaire" (The Polar Bear), a cartoon video created with Jocelyne Le Léannec and Arielle Morier-Roy.  The release party takes place at 2 p.m. on December 2 in the Salle Pauline-Boutal at Centre culturel franco-manitobain. Madame Diva will be joined by musicians Marc Arnould, Gilles Fournier, and Daniel ROA along with a host of puppets and The Divettes (dancers) for an afternoon of original songs on everything from earth worms to Egypt. We're celebrating with Madame Diva's "Mardi Gras" this week; download the song for free, read more about her in La Liberté and The Lance, and take the kidlets to the live event!
