Even before its release, Sweet Alibi's new album has been turning heads. The follow-up to the roots trio's Canadian Folk Music Award-nominated debut, We've Got To features in infusion of pop courtesy of producer Rusty Matyas (Imaginary Cities, Slow Leaves) and its first single, "I'll Wait", is already heating up the CBC Radio 2 charts. In the last few months alone, the roots trio has logged countless hours on the road, taken over main stage at The Forks' massive Canada Day bash, and wowed audiences at NXNE and Folk Music Ontario. Hometown audiences can catch the band live at the West End Cultural Centre for its album release party on November 20, along with an opening set from friends The Bros. Landreth.
