You may have seen Brooke Palsson on television. Now you can see her live on stage. After her leading role in hit HBO series Less Than Kind, the singer/songwriter and actress is releasing her signature pop/roots sound on debut CD, The Willow, produced by Keith MacPherson (who also manages Palsson). She's is no stranger to the music world; Palsson has hit various performance stages and showcases, and had her music featured in television programs like CTV's Flashpoint and Less Than Kind. Currently attending Toronto's Canadian Film Centre, Palsson will return to Winnipeg for the hometown release of The Willow at the Park Theatre on April 26, with a little help from opener Ila Baker. Look for Palsson at the TD International Winnipeg Jazz Festival in June and Manitoba Music Live at The Cube in August. And stay tuned because rumour has it that she has some more good news coming soon. In the meantime, download this week's featured track, "Small Town Bride" off The Willow.
