The Bros. Landreth
"Greenhouse"

From the album Let It Lie

Featured track, available from July 3 to July 11

There's almost too much to say about The Bros. Landreth. The pop-tinged alt-country outfit has been generating buzz since it burst to the front of the stage -- after years of earning accolades as a side players for the likes Imaginary Cities, Del Barber, and Oh My Darling -- with the release of its debut album, Let It Lie, in 2013. The quartet (which does indeed include real life brothers Dave and Joey) has logged plenty of hours on the road; garnered some solid media attention; inked deals with U.S. label Slate Creek Records, Canadian booking agency Paquin Entertainment, and Nashville-based agency William Morris Endeavour; got the crowd two-stepping at Dauphin's Countryfest; and landed not one but three Western Canadian Music Award nods for Let It Lie, including Roots Duo/Group Recording of the Year and Songwriters of the Year. And now the band is opening the 41st annual Winnipeg Folk Festival's Main Stage on July 9 and hitting Big Bluestem for the always-popular Manitoba workshop on Friday, July 11. Next up, the band will hit the road for several Canadian festival dates. The Bros. Landreth's "Greenhouse" is our featured song this week. Download it and get yourself in the mood for Folk Fest.
