Winter's biggest festival is almost upon us! Festival du Voyageur kicks off its 10-day run on February 13, offering music fans the chance to see over 100 musical acts in pretty much every genre, including lots of local talent. One of those local acts, the Justin Lacroix Band, will be extra busy during this year's festivities. The indie quartet -- which blends folk, rock, and soul and is known for its stellar live groove -- will play four shows over the next few days, including a stop at La Prairie Tent (Festival Park) on February 13 and 19, two solo sets during Manitoba Music On Ice on February 15, the release party for new EP, Tout dans ta tète, on February 16 at St. B restaurant Dwarf No Cachette, and a stop at Maw's Beer Hall on February 20. To get you in the Voyageur mood, we have Justin Lacroix Band's brand new track, the bluesy country rocker "Bottes de cowboy", for you this week. Stay tuned for more releases in French and English.
