Heartbeat City is ready to unleash Thunder Among Us. The indie outfit releases it latest offering, produced by front man Ian La Rue with Michael P. Falk at Winnipeg's Painbox Recording on August 13 at The Good Will. No stranger to the local scene, La Rue returns to the stage to launch the 10-song collection with bandmates Louis Leveques Cote (Boats, Naked Sex) on bass, drummer Tom Elvers, and violinist Nick Krueger (Violent Screech). After the launch party, the band hits the road for dates across Western Canada (check out the little feature in Exclaim!).
