Mal Magorel is ready for her debut. Known for her jazz, funk, and soul-infused vocals on the Winnipeg live circuit, the local singer is set to launch her first recording, Malfunktion. Produced by Jordan Jackiew (Resosound), Jason Gordon (Studio 11), and Jay Tooke (Accidental Sound in Nashville), the album features 10 original songs. She'll hit the stage at the West End Cultural Centre on October 16 for the hometown release party, along with some help from special guests Those Guys. Meanwhile, her acoustic duo, Acoustic Soul, will be taking over Teo’s & Mano A Mano every second Thursday this fall.
