Roger Roger
"13 Crows"

From the album Fairweather

Featured track, available from January 14 to January 22

Roger Roger is ready for the spotlight. The sibling folk/roots duo -- songwriter twins Lucas and Madeleine Roger -- is set to kick off the year with the launch of its debut album, Fairweather. The release was recorded at Winnipeg's Paintbox by accalimed co-producer and engineer Lloyd Peterson (who also happens to be the pair's dad), mixed by John Whynot, and mastered by Jamie Sitar at Outta Town Sound. Roger Roger will celebrate Fairweather over at the West End Cultural Centre on January 17 along with friends Carly Dow and Crooked Brother's Jesse Matas. Next up, they'll hit the road for a western Canadian touring, including a stop at Medicine Hat's Tongue On The Post Music Festival, before returning home for a spot at Festival Du Voyageur on February 13. To keep your ears busy until then, press play on this week's featured tune, "13 Crows", read up on the duo in the Winnipeg Free Press, and don't miss Roger Roger live.
