Winnipeg is ready for some Big Fun. The annual indie music fest, which turns five this year, takes over various city venues January 27-31 for 15 concerts and over 45 acts, including many headlining locals. One of those locals is emerging indie pop/rock outfit, FINN. The quintet, which features three Baron brothers (Dan, John, and Matt) plus two non-brothers (Cody Iwasiuk and Micah Visser) hits The Good Will on January 29 for some late night live music (after the Manitoba Music showcase). They'll also keep the winter fun going with a spot at Festival du Voyageur on February 12. Stay tuned for a new album to follow up the band's self-titled debut EP.
