March is coming in like a lion... Federal Lights has just released its second LP on Aporia Records, dubbed Coeur de Lion. The indie pop rock outfit is in the midst of a tour in the Maritimes, making its way to Winnipeg for the hometown album release at The Good Will on March 10. Keeping busy hasn't been a difficult thing for the Western Canadian Music Award-winning band, which has logged a lot of hours on the road in the last couple of years and landed coveted showcase spots at NXNE and the Pan Am Games in Toronto, SXSW in Texas, and Germany's Reeperbahn Festival. Federal Lights has also been turning the heads of media and music bloggers with the new release, including Exclaim!, Confront Magazine, Quick Before It Melts, plus last month's the Manitoba Fresh spotlight.
