Don Amero
"Twilight Hour"

From the album Refined

Featured track, available from June 30 to July 8

There's a massive birthday bash at The Forks and everyone's invited. We'll be celebrating Canada Day with live music on two stages, featuring over a dozen local acts spanning the genres. Don Amero will be hitting the big Festival Stage with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra to close out the night with a special collaboration before the fireworks. The performance is part of a busy year for the acclaimed singer/songwriter, who landed two JUNO nominations this year for his latest album, Refined. Amero has also earned a nod for Aboriginal Album of the Year at this fall's Western Canadian Music Awards. Coming up, he'll head to PEI's popular Lobster Fest, the Lunenberg Folk Fest, and the Saskatchewan World Indigenous Festival For The Arts before embarking on a cross Canada tour this fall. To help get you in the Canada Day mood, we have one of Amero's award-nominated tunes for you as this week's featured track. It's also a sneak peek... Amero will be playing "Twilight Hour" with the WSO on July 1. Get the tune, grab your flag, and head down to The Forks to catch Amero and more on Canada Day.
