Royal Canoe is ready to launch its long-awaited new album, Something Got Lost Between Here and the Orbit. The follow-up to the six-piece's JUNO-nominated release, Today We're Believers, is out September 16 on Nevado Music and the band has been generating plenty of buzz. There's a brand new song debut via CBC Music and nods from Confront Magazine, Spill Magazine, Flood Magazine, France's Rolling Stone, National Post, Winnipeg Free Press, and more, plus a video premier via NPR (check it out below). In the midst of a Canadian tour, the hometown faves take over the Burton Cummings Theatre on September 15 for the release party before continuing on the road into the U.S. To give you a little taste of the new album, we have for you this week the band's tune "Somersault".
