Les Jupes are back with a new lineup, a new single, three remixes, and a new website. Fronted by guitarist/vocalist Mike Petkau (West End Cultural Centre, Record of the Week Club, The Liptonians, and probably more), the experimental pop/rock outfit will launch its digital single, "If This Is the Light," as well as three remixes by Oldfolks Home, Joe Silva, and Blunderspublik. The band's new lineup includes The Playing Cards' David Schellenberg, Mahogany Frog's Jesse Warkentin, and Dave Meagher from Edmonton's Five O'Clock Charlie. The new track also features backing vocals by Chic Gamine's Alexa Dirks. Catch Les Jupes at their release party March 11 at the Royal Albert where they'll be joined by Nova and Slattern. Meanwhile, download "If This Is The Light" from The Loudspeaker, available until March 18.
