Grumpy Cloud
Grumpy Cloud Records is a brand new record label based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. It is owned and operated collectively by five friends who have been making music together for many years. Current roster of artists includes noise-surf-zouk-pop outfit Cone Five, politico-jangle-zouk-pop act The Consumer Goods, sugar-death-zouk-country boppers Lonely Hunters, and sexcult-pop-zouk-garde artists The Haste. Grumpy Cloud is also the parent of the experimental electro-mess-magic-murder-folk act Transmitter Down, and was formed around the back catalogue of the legendary and life-altering songs of Gareth Williams in the now-defunct cowpunk trailblazers the Horribly Awfuls.
