They play electric guitar rock full of pop hooks, ambitious melodies and a rhythm section that explodes like a house on fire. Lead singer Matt Williams is fearless and intelligent, too young to be frightening but wild enough to make you worried. This is hopeful, celebratory music that inspires and takes risks... equal parts truth and imagination. Think Pavement meets a younger, drunker Bruce Springsteen.
