DESCRIPTION

This workshop will provide participants with an opportunity to learn about the songwriting techniques of Tracy and JC. The instructors will explain where their songs come from, why they tell stories and not feelings in their songs, how they create choruses, and where their melodies come from.

About Tracy Bone
Tracy brought home trophies from the Aboriginal Peoples Choice Music Awards, Western Canadian Music Awards, Indian Summer Music Awards, Canadian Aboriginal Music Awards, and the Native American Music Awards for her debut disc entitled No Lies.

About JC Campbell
Lazy James earned JC the Best Blues CD trophy at the Aboriginal Peoples Choice Music Awards.
