Don Amero
This workshop will provide a look at the “life” of a song. Don will start by talking about his songwriting process and techniques, later going into the recording process, album completion, and live performance of the song. He’ll also talk about the funding and support available to Aboriginal songwriters in Canada and the value of setting career goals.
About Don Amero
Winner of Best Male Artist at the 2009 Canadian Aboriginal Music Awards and Aboriginal Songwriter of the Year at the 2009 Canadian Folk Music Awards, Don is a Métis songwriter with two albums to his credit.
