DESCRIPTION

Canadian musicians and music industry companies enjoy a tremendous amount of support through various funding agencies. The Foundation Assisting Canadian Talent on Recordings (FACTOR) in particular offers a number of funding programs that can help to support your music projects. FACTOR's grants and loans can help with product creation and getting your music into the market, from recording to touring to promotion.

In this workshop, we will offer an introduction to FACTOR, look at recent changes made to FACTOR programs and funding, go over what programs are right for certain projects and what makes a strong application, and how the jury process works.
