Jason Gordon is a singer/songwriter/producer and artist:

“I was always too shy to sing,” says Canadian songwriter/performer Jason Gordon, “but there came a moment when my desire to deliver a message with my music, honestly and unfiltered, became too great. That’s when I knew I had to discover and explore my depth as an artist, and invite everyone along.”

Gordon has paid his dues, or perhaps a better phrase is invested in his craft, on both the commercial and artistic front. He is the sole owner of Juno Award winning Studio 11. He is a New York rep’d jingle writer for hire. He’s also put in the time touring and songwriting with his own bands, Driver and Davenport, and a number of solo artists which have helped him expand his musical frontier. The results: Music video play on national TV. Top 40 and Top 100 singles. A constant demand from other artists to collaborate.

“It doesn’t seem so long ago that I was recording with a 4-track in my parents basement,” he states before adding with a laugh, “of course my parents still talk about me as the 3 year-old who could pick-up show tunes off the piano. Thanks little guy, you got me the lessons and encouragement to get this far.”

You can tell Jason is enjoying where he’s at, and chasing where he wants to be. Currently touring to promote his 7th album, 1st solo project, aptly titled “Born to Be.” This is no rebirth. It’s a continuation of the arc  with a promise to deliver.
