Already available publicly, Winnipeg folksy pop duo Easily Amused’s much anticipated second full-length album, Simple Stuff, is set to get its official hometown release February 28 at the West End Cultural Centre. Hayley Gene and Ed Lamontagne will also be performing at the show, tickets for which are $10 in advance at Ticketmaster. Easily Amused is also offering autographed copies of Simple Stuff to fans who order the album directly from them – details are available at the band’s newly redesigned Web site: www.easilyamused.ca.
In addition to being named a “Hit Pick” by Steve McLean of Canadian Music Network Magazine, the album’s title track has been charting consistently at college radio and AAA stations across North America and was recently listed at #14 on the add charts for CMJ Radio.
