Less than a month away from their hard rockin’ debut album release of The Luxury, Domenica are thrilled to announce that they have been signed by The Agency Group for their live representation in Canada.
The Luxury was produced by Juno Award winning producer Brandon Friesen, co-production shared on three tracks with famed P.O.D. guitarist Marcos Cureil, and mastered by Tom Baker (NIN, Billy Talent), The album was recorded at 441 Studios in Winnipeg as well as at Matt Sorum’s (Guns ‘n’ Roses, Velvet Revolver) private Hollywood studio. Set for release on September 15, 2009 through C12/EMI, the band is set to take on Canada with their impressive hard rock show.

Over the past five years, Domenica has straddled the line between hook-filled rock and metalcore. Hitting stages throughout their homeland of Canada, numerous tours of the United States and various showcases in Europe, the band has been steadily impressing music fans and gaining enthusiastic industry support in territories such as Germany and Japan where The Luxury is set for release in late 2009. Front-woman Bekki Friesen has been stirring up attention from various blogger forums commenting on how impressed her fans are that a “hot rocker chick can also shred on guitar as she does with ease”. With songs including the first single “Above Me” and the catchy “I Love My Gun”, Domenica layers melodic vocals alongside hard rocking guitar riffs and solid rhythms. Last year the band hit the road with Papa Roach, and has steadily continued their live performances with recent summer tour dates across North American in support of The Luxury.
