The final nominations for the 2010 CCMA’s were announced today in Edmonton, AB. Congratulations to Doc Walker for being recognized with an abundant list of 2010 CCMA Considerations. They are nominated for Album of the Year with their latest CD, “Go”. Their single, “If I Fall”, is considered for not only Single of the Year, but for Songwriter of the Year as well. Doc Walker is also nominated in the Group or Duo of the Year category. Their website, mastered by Ashley Harms is up for Website Design of the Year. Doc Walker's "Go" album is up for Album Design of the Year created by Garnet Armonstrong, Chad Coombs, and Dustin Rabin. Doc's "I'm Gonna Make You Love Me" video director, Stephano Barberis is nominated for Video Director of the Year. And finally, from the Doc band, Murray Pulver (guitar) Brent Pearen (bass) and Steve Broadhurts (drums) are all nominated in the All Star Band category.
The CCMA Awards will take place in Edmonton, AB on September 12th at Rexall Place and broadcast nationally on CBC and CMT at 8pm. Tickets for the awards show are $35, $70, and $95 and are available at all Ticketmaster locations. Good luck to Doc Walker!
