On March 26, 2011 Manitoba's country blues rompers Hillbilly Burlesque release their long awaited debut CD "CRAZY LIFE". Produced by Hillbilly Burlesque, the CD is a collection of recordings spanning the band's ten years renovating classic and country blues and creating unique and wholesome country blues and gospel flavoured originals. Recorded at Private Ear, Loggerhead Studios, Sleepy Dog Music Camp and Live at the Windsor Hotel, the collection was engineered and mixed mostly by lead guitarist Darrell Slide Boy Sandmoen with the addition of producer-engineers Lloyd Peterson and John Hudson. The release party starts at 9 p.m. at the Windsor Hotel, 187 Gary Street in Winnipeg. Tickets are $15.00 and available at Music Trader, Into the Music, Winnipeg Folk Festival Music Store and at Blaine's Records in Selkirk, Manitoba.
