It was an extremely successful CD release for the Billies on March 26 as they released their long awaited debut album, Crazy Life. The Windsor Hotel was standing room only and about 30 people were turned away at the door. Joined on stage by Winnipeg roots rocker Ken Pinchin, blues diva Kathy Kennedy and CBC's Jan Harding-Jeanson the band created a powerhouse of sound that kept the audience in party mode all evening. Ken Pinchin will join Hillbilly Burlesque once more when the band rocks the Bella Vista on April 15 and 16th for a send off event for lead members Angel Calnek and Darrell Sandmoen who embark on a five month Gypsy Tour. The tour takes them to the Canadian Shield for songwriting retreats, house concerts, festivals, canoeing, fishing and a two week Artist in Residency Program at Ontario's beautiful Quetico Park.
